This will make up an area of around 1600 hectares with Rhino, Eland, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Duiker, Impala, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Brown Hyena, Jackal and Aardwolf. Explore The Sterkfontein Caves

The Sterkfontein Caves are located in Maropeng and are world famous for the amazing fossil discoveries that have been made here. It’s recommended that you take a tour through the caves so that you don’t miss out on anything! The most significant fossil discovery in the caves were ‘Mrs Ples’, a 2.1-million-year-old Australopithecus skull, and ‘Little Foot’, an almost complete Australopithecus skeleton that is over three-million years old! Note: if you take the tour, don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes as it involves quite a bit of walking.
